Community Forums for Consent Decree Independent Monitor Finalists

The first community forum will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the Baltimore City Community College (Fine Arts Auditorium, 2901 Liberty Heights Avenue Baltimore, MD 21215), from 6-8PM.

The second community forum will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Morgan State University (Student Center, 2nd floor, Ballroom C, 1700 East Cold Spring Lane Baltimore, MD 21251), from 6-8PM.

These forums will give the Finalist Applicants for the Independent Monitor role a chance to respond to written questions submitted by members of the public. One hour of the forums will be dedicated for members of the public to speak directly with the Finalist Applicants in breakout sessions.

After the meetings, the community is invited to  submit feedback on the finalists to Baltimore.Consent.Decree@usdoj.gov. The deadline to submit feedback is Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017.

On Friday, August 25th, 2017, the City and BPD together with DOJ will recommend a finalist to the Court. If the Parties cannot agree, the City and BPD and DOJ may name up to two teams (one for the City and BPD, and one for DOJ), to the finalist list.
